Message from the Principal
I am fortunate to have been part of this community since the St. Ambrose of Woodbury school opened its doors in the year 2000, and I feel blessed by the opportunity to lead our school. I am excited to continue our great tradition of faith development, academic excellence and service to others, and believe I am called to work to continue to improve our outstanding programs.
The Saint Ambrose of Woodbury community’s biggest asset is our people. We have a professional staff whose love of sharing faith and supporting children makes me grateful each day. We have students who grow each year in their knowledge and understanding of the world, as well as in their awareness of the gifts God has given them. We see our students making connections about how that awareness informs their choices as people of faith. We have parents and parishioners whose support gives a solid foundation for all that we do at school. I am thankful for all of the amazing people that make our community strong.
Benefitting: The Bishop Pates Endowment & Sustaining School Technology
On Friday, May 5th, 2017 we will be celebrating our school with a GALA fundraiser which benefits our Bishop Pates Endowment Fund as well as school technology. This year's event will be held at Saint Ambrose of Woodbury.
Our founding Pastor, Bishop Richard Pates, created the Bishop Pates Endowment Fund with the sole purpose to support long-term tuition assistance to Saint Ambrose of Woodbury Catholic School. Each year, interest earned on this fund is used to help qualified families experience the faith-filled education that Saint Ambrose has to offer.
As preparations get underway, we are looking for people to help us plan this fabulous night. With the use of new auction software, most volunteer opportunities can be done from home and on your own schedule. If you are interested in volunteering to help or have any questions, please contact event chair Betsy Hand at firstname.lastname@example.org
To buy tickets:
Join us at the Kentucky Derby! Buy a horse for a race, bid on a classroom creation during the live auction, have fun and support our school.
